MHPI’s newest facility, Senior Living at Prouty, is now featured on the front page of the Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Massachusetts website. Photos of the project as well as a writeup are included.
In mid-May, MHPI held an Open House, showcasing the former school building to members of the community and public.

CHELSEA, MA – Nearly 40 residents from Senior Living on Bellingham Hill celebrated Independence Day a few days later, taking part in a July 4 cookout in the downstairs dining room. Residents enjoyed a traditional July 4 fare of hamburgers, hot dogs and potato salad and finished up their meal with strawberry shortcake.

CHELSEA–In Mid-June, noted performer Peter O’Malley belted out smash hits “New York, New York” and “My Way” among others during a performance for residents at Senior Living on Bellingham Hill. The performance one of many held during the year at the facility was made possible by funding from the Tenant Assistance Program of MassHousing.

CHELSEA – As part of their school’s Community Connect initiative, 30 seventh-grade students from Smith Leadership Academy helped enhance the ambiance of the outside grounds of Senior Living on Bellingham Hill by planting flowers and plants.

Nearly 300 people hailing from Spencer, other Central Massachusetts communities beyond came to Senior Living at Prouty for an Open House held on May 14. The well-attended event sponsored by Newton-based MHPI, Inc, included tours of the converted school as well as remarks from a number of special guests.
