Home Based Supportive Services

Using its own Private Pay Plan, Residential Support Services, Inc. (RSSI) can provide home care services to individuals who may not qualify for other care programs such as Group Adult Foster Care or Elder Service Plan but still desire some level of supportive services while living independently in their own apartments.  The range of services, provided by certified home health aides, is flexible and is geared to meet the specific needs of the individual.

RSSI also provides supportive services to clients who are covered under Elder Service Plans (ESP), which are part of Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE).  Based on assessments made by the PACE team of health professionals, a plan of coordinated care is developed that addresses an individual’s specific needs.  The local PACE site then works with RSSI to coordinate the provision of these services in the tenant’s apartment.

Working collaboratively, RSSI Home Care’s team of Registered Nurses, Social Workers, Certified Nursing Assistants and Home Health Aides come together to deliver a wide and varied array of services to seniors and those with disabilities.  Among the services rendered are case management in consultation with medical professionals, assistance with bathing, toileting, meal preparation as well as help with shopping, light housekeeping and accompaniment to medical appointments.
